DESCRIPTION: The artistic research by Francesco Virgata never ends and spans from sculpture to painting.

In these last works, the artist succeeds in joining both techniques. After years of experimentation in the search for suitable materials to give "volume" to the painting, Francesco Virgata use the wooden board with foam-based products to give "volume" to the shape. He apply vinyl fabrics on it with special paints and finally defines the signs sometimes with lines and shapes of color, others with applied materials such as metal strings and plates.

The result is a painting that has to be touched with your hands. The union between the purely visual aspect of the painting and the material quality and three-dimensional sculpture finds the perfect balance here.

Special works, advanced research, definitely projected towards the international market that appreciates more and more the abstracts works by authors such as Lucio Fontana, Agostino Bonalumi and Turi Simeti, beyond others.
