FILIPPO ROSSATO

Filippo Rossato was born in Milan in 1973. After a significant and menaingful artistic training he moved to Liguria where he worked on the heights of Camogli and Portofino. He first attended the faculty of Science Education at the Univeristà di Genoa and then several advanced schools (Albisola, Chiavari, Accademia Ligustica di Genova, Brera-Castello Sforzesco in Milan).

His artistic production spans in the most diverse techniques from plastic to figurative arts. He participate in several exhibitions in public and private venues, curated among others by Philippe Daverio and Jean Blanchaert.

"... the color invade the seabed, producing unexpected effects. It would be said that there is a sort of Panic Intuition. Inner structures, lattices, parables are set in a sort of uninterrupted motion, illuminated by a very special light that can be found in a universe crowded of reckless signs and chromaticities. At the basis of his poetry there is the intuition of a common belonging to the "all" and the substantial link that join the most diverse living forms: the inanimate world, the sky, the earth, and the depths of the sea.
