DESCRIPTION: Anna Pennati's breaths are very important works.

Despite an apparent simplicity, they summarize years of research and a complicated execution technique.

Constructed on corrugated cardboard to convey the vibrations transmitted by light by impacting the surface at different angles, they consist of a single line, executed in one single seamless moment.

The shapes express different meanings depending on the spaces they enclose, creating full and empty voids of varying intensity, while the sinuous path of the line can be compared to a sometimes soft, others acute melodic melody that come true through the visual and perceptual sense.
